Maseru — The plight of people selling items in the streets is long overdue.
Anytime anyone fells like terrorizing, intimidating and flexing their
muscles on the lower classes, it is always the street vendors.
As one of the government policies on improving the lives of the
citizens of this country, poverty reduction and job creation, is one
of those on the high page. While government concedes that private
sector participation towards this end will be of valuable
contribution, the informal sector would definitely be one of the
sectors to be considered.
