Nigeria: Okosuns, 20 Others Sing for USA

Lagos — Ozzidi King-turned Evangelist, Sonny Okosuns and no fewer than twenty top Nigerian artistes are set to release a joint album into both Nigerian and foreign market.

Entertainment Cafe learned that the album project titled: "We Are The Nation" sponsored by Sonny Okosuns features artistes from all Nigerian tribes and it is aimed at uniting and commiserate with those who died during the terrorist attacks in the US and the recent ethnic clashes in Jos, Nigeria.

The album recorded at the Eko Reel Mix Studio, Ikeja features: Adewale Ayuba, Ras Kimono, Stella Monye, Nelly Uchendu, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Eddy Brown, his wife St. Kenny Brown, Idris, Daddy Showkey.

Others are: Orits Wiliki, Becky Wiliki, his wife, T.J. Bala, Zakki Adzay, Bright Chimezie, Alariwo of Africa, The Oshadipe Twins among others.

Investigation revealed that the album, which is set to be released into the market any moment from now, will be accompanied by a video which will be shown by all stations.

Speaking with Entertainment Cafe after the recording of some portions of the video clips inside the Eko Reel Mix Studio, Evangelist Okosuns said the album project is targeted at Nigeria, United States of America and the entire world.

He said the song which is in two parts, features two songs jointly sung by all the artistes. "The first part is for Nigerians and Nigeria as a country, while the other part is for USA and the world at large".

Evangelist Sonny Okosuns told Entertainment Cafe that "the album will not be sold but is meant for the listening pleasure of all and sundry. "We Are The Nation has the answer to all the problems. We as artistes want to get into the peoples hearts through music", he noted.

Apart from the album project, Okosun said "I have always had the idea all my life to bring all musicians together to sing one song and this is an opportunity".
