MISTER Jerry Okwuosa is a director and resource person with Project
Human Development (PHD), a Lagos-based Non-governmental organisation
(NGO).
An engineer by profession, Mr. Okwuosa spent a good part of his
working life (about 32 years to be exact) in a tobacco company. He
retired about two years ago. The primary focus of PHD he tells me, is
to restore basic African family values in our system. "With regards
to HIV/AIDS, we want to do something with secondary schools and
university students to retard, if possible eliminate the spread of
HIV/AIDS," he says.
