Uganda: Entebbe Lacks Latrines

Entebbe Municipal Estate tenants have expressed concern over the possible out break of cholera and dysentery in the area due to lack of enough pit latrines.

The concern was raised due to the increasing dumping of wastes in the area by tenants through use of polythene bags as pit-toilets.

This was revealed in a Wednesday memorandum addressed to Entebbe Municipal Mayor, Steven Kabuye, asking him to intervene by constructing new latrines in the area.
