South Africa: Hinterland Heroes Coysan Are the National Langarm Champions

Grahamstown — Local five-man "langarm" band Coysan has won the hearts of South Africans who voted them top band in the National Sakkie/Langarm competition in Randburg on Saturday.

The original and fun-loving band, who have played to packed halls across the Eastern Cape every weekend this year, won fans across the country who phoned to vote them number one while the competition was broadcast live on DSTV's Kyknet programme from the M-Net studios.
