DESPITE bagging a red card in the ill-tempered semi-final clash against Senegal, Super Eagles goal king, Julius Aghahowa was listed among the African XI by the CAF Technical Study Group at the 23rd African Nation s Cup.

Aghahowa was not alone as compatriots, Taribo West and Ifeanyi Udeze, both defenders also made the list making the Super Eagles as the team with the highest number of players.

Cameroun's point man Patrick Mboma who missed both the semi final and yesterday's final was also picked alongside his team captain, Rigobert Song who missed a penalty in the final.

Senegal produced two players, goalkeeper Mario Sylva and El Hadj Diouf while Egypt's Itani Ramsy as well as Seidou.(ACONS)
