The Tunisian FA has set up a commission to investigate why the team qualified for the World Cup, but crashed out of the African Nations early on.
Under Frenchman Henri Michel, Tunisia had their worst-ever African Nations Cup and failed to score a single goal in three games and were dumped out at the group stage.
A statement from the FA said: "In view of the national team's poor run at the Nations Cup and in our determination to improve in subsequent tournaments, especially the World Cup in Korea and Japan, a commission made up of clubs officials, media representatives and national coaches has been set up to access the team's performance in Mali.
"It will highlight its strong points as well as weaknesses and make recommendations as to how to avoid such a disastrous outing in future."
No names were mentioned to the membership of the commission and there was no clear-cut statement as to the fate of Michel, who only came on board in November three months after the team qualified for the World Cup.
Michel had said before the Nations Cup: "The time is too short to expect any magic in Mali, but we hope to be better focused and prepared for the World Cup."(ACONS)
