Ghana: Change Nation's Flag - Agbozo

19 February 2002

The Ghana Evangelical Society an apostolic and prophetic ministry has advised the president to change the flag of the country since its glorious days are past. The Head Pastor, Bro. Emmanuel Enoch Agbozo said the black star in the flag had a spiritual power which is gone forever. He outdoored a new white flag with a cross and a crown of thorn covering the cross explaining that the white represent victory, the cross signifies the redemption of Ghanaians and the crown with thorns, the long suffering before Ghanaians were redeemed.

He named President JA Kufuor as the first president of the redeemed people and nation of Ghana.

Bro. Agbozo made these pronouncements at special thanksgiving service to end a three-day program of celebration of God's victory for Ghana under the theme "Behold his Glory".

He said the gathering marks the beginning of a new Ghana, founded in God, placed in the hands of the government to organize the affairs of state and people in the knowledge and fear of God.

The Chief Justice, Mr. E.K. Wiredu who represented the Judiciary asked Ghanaians to pray for the Judiciary for people to have faith in them.

He said people put in key positions should have the fear of the Lord in them adding that this will move the nation to its former glory.
