Zambia: Police Arrest Intelligence Officers Over OP Bank Statements

ANGONI Forwarding and Clearing agents chief executive Edgar Ngoma, popularly known as Angoni, was yesterday arrested along with Office of the President (OP) officers for espionage.

Police sources last night confirmed that Ngoma was detained at Lusaka's Kabwata police station. Ngoma is being linked to the Zambia National Commercial Bank (Zanaco) statements that opposition FDD Lusaka Central member of parliament Dipak Patel attempted to produce in Parliament showing how billions of kwacha were questionably externalised through the OP account.
