Heavy fighting broke out between Church of Uganda Christians and born-again Christians of the Baptist Church in Magombe village, Buhehe sub-county Busia district on Sunday.
Worshippers at the Baptist Church told the New Vision that Rev. George Wandera stormed their service demanding to know why their pastor, Bernard Wanyama, commanded a large congregation.
Wandera reportedly boxed and kicked Wanyama which prompted the different sects of Christians to join the fight.
Wanyama who was severely wounded, recorded a statement with the Police after receiving treatment. There were no deaths reported.
