Nigeria: Ota Visit: Kachallah, Audu Are Sinking Politicians - APP Chieftain

Abuja — A chieftain of the All Peoples Party (APP), Senator Saidu Umar Kumo, has described the two APP Governors who joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) train to Ota last Tuesday to persuade President Olusegun Obasanjo to seek re-election in 2003 as politicians whose political ship is sinking.

Reacting on the participation, Kumo who is the Deputy Chairman, Senate Services Committee said both Borno State Governor Mala Kachallah and that of Kogi, Prince Abubakar Audu were looking for protection from the ruling PDP and its president for the actualisation of their governorship ambitions in 2003.
