Nigeria: About 60,000 Printers Sold Annually - Oki Chief

Lagos — About fifty to sixty thousand printers of various models are sold in Nigeria every year, the General Manager, Sub-Sahara Africa for Oki network solutions, Mr. Robin Wood has said.

Wood who was addressing newsmen on the innovations made on the Oki range of printers, and the participation of the company at the just-concluded CTO 2002 said so far statistics show that between fifty and sixty thousand printers from different manufacturers are being sold in Nigeria annually although there are indications that the market is growing. He expressed the optimism that Oki will capture a large part of that market soon.
