Nigeria: Party Registration: Absence of Electoral Act Will Cause Confusion - Wada Nas

Lagos — As political association in the country were waiting on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for registration, former, Special Duties Minister to Gen. Abacha and Chieftain of the All People Party (APP), Alhaji Wada Nas, has said that the absence of an electoral law at the moment may create serious crisis even if the parties are registered now.

Speaking in an interview with newsmen yesterday in Kano, Nas predicted that there would be a lot of confusion in the nation's politics when the National Assembly passed into law the new electoral law.
