Zimbabwe: Five Countries to Take Part in Zone Six Volleyball Tourney

FIVE countries have confirmed their participation in the Zone Six Volleyball Club Championships which start at the City Sports Centre on Monday. Allan Gwinyai, the president of the Zimbabwe Volleyball Association, said Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Zambia and the hosts, Zimbabwe, were "definitely" going to take part in the tournament.

Gwinyai said: "We are not so sure on whether Mozambique are still coming, but we are confident that South Africa shall be coming." He, however, said they had failed to communicate with Angola and were now uncertain they would be coming.

The tournament ends on 2 June. Zimbabwe will be represented by Mabelreign Sharks, Black Rhinos and University of Zimbabwe in the men's section, while Black Rhinos and Air Zimbabwe will participate in the women's category.
