The All People's Party (APP) has changed its name to All Nigeria People's
Party (ANPP), just as new entrant into the party and former Head of State,
Genera Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), is said to have donated N20 million to the
party.
Gen. Buhari's donation, Daily Trust learnt was made by the Kano State
Chairman of the party, Alhaji Ibrahim Little, on behalf of the general who
is rumoured to be interested in contesting the 2003 presidential election,
even though he has denied it, saying he is only a card-carrying member of
the party.
