Grahamstown — Five social workers and three other workers in the office of the
Grahamstown Child and Family Welfare Society have gone on strike
because of the failure by the Eastern Cape Welfare Department to pay
them for two months.
An angry staff member said: "As from today, (subs:thurs) we are
embarking on a No Pay, No Work strike."
