Pretoria — The South African National Defence Force (SANDF), through its Military Academy, is to introduce distance military and university education for its members next year.
All qualifying candidates will be evaluated, selected and assigned to either a pilot project or a waiting list. Should the programme be approved, candidates on the waiting list will commence their studies in 2004.
The course duration is six years and is strictly available to serving members of the SANDF and other public servants in the Department of Defence.
According to a SANDF statement, only ten candidates per programme will be selected.
'Entry requirement for the programme includes computer literacy and Matric exemption with a D-aggregate.' For more information, interested candidates can call the faculty administrator on (022) 702-3022.
