Zambia: Negotiations Over KCM Are Above Board - Kasonde

ALL negotiations between the Zambian government and development partners over Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) are above board, finance minister Emmanuel Kasonde has said.

Commenting on The Post's editorial comment of June 17, 2002 which stated that it was disappointing that all the time Zambians learnt about their government's intentions, plans or commitments from outsiders, Kasonde yesterday said all negotiations between the Ministry of Finance and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) were above board and people were free to make submissions.
