Nigeria: APP National Scribe Quits Party

Port Harcourt — The Assistant National Secretary, South-south of the All Peoples Party (APP), Chief June Igoni, has quit his membership of the party. Igoni who is a funding member of APP and hails from Bayelsa State said his resignation has to do with the activities of the leadership of the party in the state which he described as "family cult."

Igoni's resignation has since been communicated to the National Chairman, Secretary, Deputy Chairman (South) and the chairman of the National Convention Planning Committee of the party.
