Mmabatho — The Assets Forfeiture Unit (AFU) seized about R1,8-million worth
of assets belonging to a senior North West government official on
Tuesday, the National Directorate of Public Prosecutions said.
The confiscation of the assets of Thabiso Mokoena, a former
sports director for the provincial government, followed his
conviction on June 18 on 85 counts of fraud.
