Nigeria: Polls: No PDP Primaries in Enugu, Nassarawa

As controversy trails the primaries held by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to pick its flag bearers for the August 10, council elections, fresh crisis has erupted in the Enugu and Nassarawa states chapters of the party.

While in Enugu state, Senator Jim Nwobodo said no primaries were held by the state PDP's his fellow senator and former deputy senate president, Alhaji Haruna Abubakar has accused governor Abdullahi Adamu of Nassarawa state of unilaterally postponing the party primaries scheduled for last weekend.
