Bishop Sebastian Bakare, the president of the Zimbabwe Council of
Churches (ZCC), has dismissed as unfounded claims in Monday's issue of The
Herald that he had evaded questions concerning a communique the ZCC issued
after its 36th Annual General Meeting on 3 July.
Bakare said The Herald misled its readers and the nation by claiming
that he was a bishop of the Methodist Church in Mutare.
