Nigeria: ANPP Accuses PDP of Complicity in Botched Convention

Abuja — All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of complicity in its botched national convention penultimate week, claiming that the counsel to the said Obong Usen Bassey Obong, who filed the suit that truncated the convention, is the PDP Director of Legal Services, Barr. Essien Esema.

Speaking with reporters yesterday in Abuja, ANPP National Secretary, Chief George Moghalu, regretted that the Director of Legal Services of a rival party, could undertake to represent a "phantom" client in such a crucial matter as party convention.
