Nigeria: Gov't Spends N85 Billion On NEPA

POWER and Steel Minister, Dr. Olusegun Agagu said yesterday that the federal government had expended about N85 billion on the National Electric Power Authority in the last three years.

Agagu spoke at the signing ceremony of a power purchase agreement between the Federal Government/ NEPA, the Akwa Ibom state government /LYK Engineering and Gulf Bank of Nigeria on the production and supply of 685 megawatts of electricity in Akwa Ibom state.
