Johannesburg — NOW we know why the economy of SA is battling and the eradication of poverty is just a futile exercise the administrators of the country do not prioritise.

While the country's President Thabo Mbeki has access to a private jet worth hundreds of millions, Botswana's President Festus Mogae recently boarded an economy class flight from Australia to Fiji for a conference, as there were no business class seats available on that flight.
