Thousands of Gambians despite the heavy down pour of rain in Banjul
yesterday paid their last respect to Ousainou Njie, the son of the
late Gambian business tycoon, Momodou Musa Njie.
Speaking in an interview with the Daily Observer shortly after the
burial, Alhaji Biri Njie, a legendary Gambian footballer said the
demised of Ousainou was a big blow to the entire Gambian football
fraternity because during his life time he has contributed immensely
towards the development of sports in this country.
