Chissano, oldest son of President Joaquim Chissano, on Friday backed up
Chissano's story that cheques currently in the possession of the Maputo City
Court had nothing to do with the murder of journalist Carlos Cardoso in
November 2000.
The cheques have been presented as evidence by Momade Assife Abdul Satar
("Nini"), one of those accused of murdering Cardoso.
