Accra — The Sakumo Ramsar site is in danger of perpetual destruction as over 50 rampaging youth from Sakumono and Nungua in the Greater Accra Region have been busy demarcating the site into building plots.
The youth last Saturday invaded the site with bulldozers, cutlasses and hoes claiming that their action was based on the assurance by government that all government- acquired lands, which were still not in use, should be returned to its owners.
