Nigeria: Afex Bank Appointed Official Banker to Enugu Fair

AFRICAN Express Bank (Afex Bank) Plc has been appointed the sole banker (official banker) for the 14th Enugu International Trade Fair which is scheduled lo hold between Friday, March 21 to Monday, March 31, 2003 at the International Trade Fair Complex, Abakaliki Road, Enugu.

Announcing the appointment recently in Enugu, a source at the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA), organisers of the Fair, declared that Afex Bank was chosen on account of its culture of efficient on-line service delivery, strong branch network, and adequate coverage of the Eastern Nigerian market, the catchment market of the trade fair. The traditional role of a sole banker is to collect all payments from fair participants and to forward same to the fair organiser. It includes also the provision of banking services to those who may need them at fair venue.
