Nigeria: Man Arraigned Over Visa Forgery

A man identified as Stephen Otunba has been arraigned before an Abuja Chief Magistrate's court for allegedly using forged Women Trafficking and Child Labour Eradication Foundation (WOTCLEF) document to procure 40 visas for unsuspecting Nigerians.

The accused person, 36, was charged to court on a four-count charge of criminal conspiracy, forgery, and cheating which are contrary to sections 97, 367, 366 and 325 of the penal code cap 532 laws of the Federation (1990) but pleaded not guilty to the charge.
