Nigeria: Cross River Assembly Probes Allegation Against Deputy Gov

Calabar — The Cross River State House of Assembly has concluded plans to begin the investigation of allegation of gross misconduct levelled against the embattled deputy governor of the state, Chief John Okpa, even as the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) has also levelled an allegation of gross misconduct against the state Governor, Mr. Donald Duke.

The House after its sitting yesterday, stated that it was bound to call on the state Chief Judge on the directive of the governor to set up a panel to investigate the allegation of gross misconduct levelled against Okpa.
