Zimbabwe: UN Envoy to Meet Mugabe, Tsvangirai

Harare — UNITED Nations (UN) Secretary-General Kofi Annan's special envoy James Morris will this week separately meet President Robert Mugabe and opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai over Zimbabwe's fast-deteriorating humanitarian crisis, UN officials said this week.

Morris, who is executive director of the World Food Progra-mme (WFP) and Annan's special envoy on the humanitarian crisis in southern Africa, arrives in Harare today and will also meet representatives of non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
