Ghana: First Bicycle Caravan in Accra

Accra — The Greater Accra Regional Sports Council is organising the first Accra Bicycle Caravan on Saturday, January 25.

According to a statement signed by Hamah Hamid Isakah, the administrative officer, the event is to afford the cycling public the opportunity to ride their bicycles freely through certain principal streets of the city.

The event which has " Ride for Recreation, Health and Transport for your benefit" as its theme is being organised jointly with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly and the International Transportation and Development Policy.
