Gambia: In Fifa Rankings, Banjul Lies 144th

Banjul — The latest rankings from world football's governing body, FIFA, out this month saw The Gambia in 144th position, ahead of sixty nations including fourteen African countries, with a total of 275 points, which represents a drop by one place in December 2002.

The Gambia's unactiveness in the international scene since September was the result of the dropping as FIFA had taken into account all international 'A' games played by the nations within December 2002 and the two first weeks of January 2003.
