Nigeria: Man, 24, Caught With Human Head

Owerri — Less than four days after seven men were condemned to death by an Owerri High Court over the murder in 1996 of Eleven year-old master Ikechukwu Okonkwo, fresh scares of yet another ritual murder yesterday ravaged the city when a 24-year old man identified as Chijioke Ogu from Ihiazu Mbaise, Imo State was arrested by police for being in possession of a human head.

THISDAY investigation reveal that the said Chijoke, currently in detention was arrested at about 11 a.m. while trying to escape with the human head, suspected to be that of a woman.
