Apart from the alternative investments segment of the bourse which groups together the lowly capitalised A Baumann and Company Ltd, Citytrust Ltd, East Africa Packaging, Express Ltd, Williamson Tea, Kenya Orchards Limuru Tea and Standard Newspapers Ltd and the agricultural sector's Brooke Bond, Kakuzi Rea Vipingo and Sasini whose prices largely remained unchanged, virtually all the 53 companies quoted at the bourse recorded significant price advances.
