Namibia: Auditor-General Tjingaete Asked to Stay On for Just Two Months

AUDITOR GENERAL Fanuel Tjingaete's term has been extended to March, increasing speculation that the search is on to find a replacement for him.

The Namibian has learnt that the office of the President asked Tjingaete to stay on for at least two more months but the request did not elaborate on why his term in office was extended for such a short period.
