Maputo — The UN World Food Programme (WFP) has now
sent hundreds of tonnes of emergency food aid to the areas
affected by cyclone Japhet, which hit Inhambane, Sofala and
Manica provinces earlier this month.
WFP spokesperson Jenifer Abrahamson told AIM "we began
distributing food aid to isolated areas by helicopter last
Sunday".
