Nigeria: May 29: Senator Proposes Interim National Govt

Kaduna — Senator Abubakar Girei (Adamawa central) has proposed the constitution of an interim national government to run the affairs of the country from May 29.

Girei explained that it would be unconstitutional for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to continue with the scheduled general elections next month, having failed to produce a final copy of the voters' register.
