Nigeria: PDP Plans Operation 'Poundo' in South-East

Lagos — With less than one month to the general elections which commences with the National Assembly on April 12, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that it would launch what it described as operation 'Poundo' in the South-eastern states.

The South-east zonal secretary of the party, Chief Okey Ezenwa, who made the disclosure to THISDAY in Akwa yesterday, said operation 'poundo' was the code name for the intensive campaign the party planned for the 15 senatorial districts in the five South-eastern states.
