Nigeria: CBN Mops Up N25.5 Billion

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) last week removed a sum total of N25,4 billion from circulation by way of the government securities.

The apex bank which had consistently achieved over N100 billion in the preceding two weeks, failed to keep it up probably because of the fact that there was no transaction in the Open Market Operation (OMO) segment of the market last week.
