Nigeria: Multichoice Unveils Big Brother Africa

Television — At a well-attended Pre-event media launch in Lagos on Tuesday, MultiChoice Nigeria Limited, foremost providers of cable satellite TV services announced the commencement of the continent-wide Big Brother Africa reality TV show.

The Public Relations/ Publicity Officer of the company, Mr. Segun Fayose while welcoming journalists to the event said that the story of Big Brother on the African continent started in the year 2001, when the first Big Brother show was staged in South Africa after previous hosting in Europe and America. The wide acceptance of Big Brother 1 in South Africa led to another edition the following year (2002) which was another success story.
