Abuja — Chairman, Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, (RMAFC) Alhaji Hamman Tukur, has described the creation of additional local governments by states as a major source of drain on the nation's treasury.
Tukur, who spoke yesterday in Abuja when Ekiti State Governor Mr. Ayo Fayose, visited the commission said, issues such as the creation of local governments, which some states consider as political exigency, sometimes clash with economic realities.
