Zambia: Ministry of Transport Workers Strike

Lusaka — WORKERS at Ministry of Communications and Transport have gone on strike demanding housing allowance.

The workers who staged a day long protest vowed to continue with the work stoppage until their demands were met. They said they were not pleased with the manner management was handling them.

The workers expressed disappointment at communications minister Bates Namuyamba's failure to address them.
