Ghana: Glico Pays ¢389m Claims to Ghana Telecom

Ghana Telecom has lost seven employees through accidents and illness these past couple of months. Though bemoaning their mournful state, management and staff of Ghana Telecom breathed a sigh of relief and expressed surprise when Gemini Life Insurance Company promptly presented to the bereaved families, a cheque for ¢389 million in benefits to cushion them for life.

The payment of the benefits was under the Life Insurance Agreement signed between Ghana Telecom and Gemini Life Insurance under the GLICO Comprehensive Plan in March this year.
