South Africa: Absa Hacker Suspect Being Questioned

Cape Town — A man believed to be in his 30s was still being questioned by police commercial branch detectives on Friday in connection with the theft of money from Absa internet banking customers, Western Cape police said.

Superintendent Riaan Pool said the man, who was arrested at a Western Cape guest house on Thursday, would either be released or charged by Saturday afternoon -- 48 hours after his arrest.
