South Africa: Big Brother Africa's Virgin Visitor Wins British Show

Johannesburg — CAMERON Stout, the Scotsman who spent a week in the Big Brother Africa house in Randburg, has won Britain's Big Brother 4.

The 32-year-old fish trader from the Orkney Islands was crowned as the £70 000 winner on Friday after nine weeks in the house, after getting about 57% of the public votes.

Cameron, a virgin by his own admission, wept when he was reunited with his parents and brother. The staunch Christian said he was going to buy a new piano for his church and pay for his brother's bathroom before visiting Chicago in the US.

While he was in the Big Brother house, Cameron confessed that he did not believe in sex before marriage and that he had never slept with a woman - but he flirted with a female housemate, Steph, who gave him a drunken kiss.

Cameron came to South Africa four weeks ago when he swopped places with Ugandan Gaetano Kagwa, who entered the British house.

Evicted Big Brother Africa housemate Alex Holi from Kenya said he was not surprised that Cameron won. "I told Big Brother in one of my diary sessions that I bet Cameron would win BBUK. It's brilliant that he has won.

"He was a nice guy. He seemed cool. I'm really happy for him. He was very relaxed and friendly with everyone. Even when he had that argument with Abby [Plaatjes from South Africa], he handled it well and spoke his mind," he said.
