Botswana: Kowa Eyes Coke Cup

MOCHUDI Centre Chiefs head coach Oupa Kowa is confident that his charges can go all the way and win the lucrative Coca Cola Cup.

Save for a semi-final finish last year, Chiefs have always had a bad outing in the annual tournament which is now in its tenth edition. They appeared in the last four under the tutelage of Zimbabwean Barry Daka, who has since moved to Notwane. Magosi is among the best followed teams in the country and has disappointed their die-hards by failing to stamp their authority in cup games. But this time round, the ever-confident Kowa feels things would be different. "The fact that many people have written us out, will work to our advantage. We aim to reach the finals and then win it for our scores of supporters," he said.
