South Africa: Poverty Aggravates Burden of Diseases: Tshabalala-Msimang

Pretoria — Health Minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang says rampant poverty among poor nations is aggravating the spread of diseases among people.

Minister Tshabalala-Msimang said it was important for people to understand the conditions in which diseases including HIV and other health challenges present themselves in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.
