Lagos — Arepo village, an obscure settlement lying on the Lagos-Ibadan
expressway, about 10 kilometres away from Lagos metropolis, is set to
witness a transformation into an urban centre with modern infrastructure
courtesy of the imminent development of an 18-hectare journalists' estate in
the community.
The estate whose official foundation laying ceremony was performed last
Saturday by the speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu
Masari, is an initiative of the Lagos State council of the Nigeria Union of
Journalists (NUJ).
